Pioneer's Culinary Arts is holding a cookie contest today. Judges get 3 cookies to judge based on texture, taste and appearance.

Pioneer Online Students: If you would like to be included in the class composite picture for your lab and were not here for pictures in September, you can come to Pioneer on Friday, October 30 to get your picture taken. Or you can schedule a time with Marco Photo by calling 419.529.9010 by Friday, Noverber 6.

Lab Picture Days at Pioneer are Thursday, October 29 and Friday, October 30! Due to COVID restrictions, we are not having the regular group photos taken this year. However, each student will have their individual photo taken in their lab to capture those special memories! In addition, a composite group photo will be available for purchase for each lab. This week is Red Ribbon Week at Pioneer. The theme for the week is Be Happy! Be Brave! Be Drug Free! Each day this week the students have seen videos including several put together by Pioneer Performing Arts students.


Congratulations to the Pioneer October Students of the Month-Rachel Weyant and Austan Kolk! Rachel is a senior from Crestline High School in the Pioneer Medical Technologies lab. Austan is a senior from Galion High School in the Media Communications lab.

Who is behind the mask at Pioneer? Mr. Calhoon is the Assistant Director at Pioneer. He started at Pioneer as the Horticulture Instuctor. Mr. Calhoon has been at Pioneer for over 19 years.
